About the Author
Matt Gaffney’s puzzles have appeared in Billboard, the Chicago Tribune, the Daily Beast, Games magazine, New York magazine, The New York Times, Newsday, TheOnion, Slate, TheWall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Washingtonian magazine, and Wine Spectator. He’s written dozens of books of crossword puzzles and the 2006 narrative book Gridlock: Crossword Puzzles and the Mad Geniuses Who Create Them (Thunder’s Mouth Press). He’s also the author of the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Crossword Puzzles & Word Games (Alpha). Gaffney lives in Staunton, VA.
